Summertime at last! Summer means lots of my favorite things are on order: evenings with no running the kids around to afterschool/church activities, time to catch up on my reading and movie watching and - best of all - the RWA conference in Washington, D.C.  Yippee!

The Romance Bandits will be gathering for the RWA conference. This year, I think 17 of us will be at the conference. If you are a regular at Romance Bandits (and I hope you are), you know that any gathering of Banditas means it’s party time! Lots of laughter, endless conversation and fun, fun, fun! Many of our 11 published authors will be signing at RWA’s annual Literacy Autographing event on Wednesday, July 15, so be sure to stop by if you are at the conference and greet a Bandita. We will be hosting a contest and all lucky readers who gather the required number of Bandita stamps will be eligible for a cool prize! Be sure to get a “game card” at the Literacy Autographing event from any Bandita!

We have also set up a Romance Bandits group on Facebook, so if you have a Facebook account be sure to look us up and join in the fun! Also, all 20 Banditas have Facebook accounts and we would love for you to friend each of us. Just please don’t ask me to join your mob on Mafia Wars. I have a huge Farm Town farm and it occupies all my free time. Seriously. If you see me on Facebook, I am probably in Farm Town, so please send me a message and remind me that I need to be writing!
